Peta protest in online games to seal slaughterman.

Animal protectors of their Peta-wide protest against animal cruelty now on the online world. On Saturday, supporters of the activists are a lot of role playing game "World of Warcraft" game - and seal-killers slaughter.

Peta's name is associated most closely with posters of half-Celebrity Pamela Anderson and Eva Mendes who confess Lieber naked than in fur. Now it is the animal welfare organization with a virtual battle in the RPG "World of Warcraft."

Hunt for the hunters: With pictures of sweet baby seals with large, sad eyes Peta calls on the online protest in "World of Warcraft" on

In her blog
The Peta Files called the organization this week for a game of the popular online game. The Peta supporters should be on Easter Saturday in the cyber world a horde of virtual seal-killer and thus a sign of the actual slaughter of the animals off the coast of Canada set.

Not that the game actually hunt for baby seals would be made. But the animal rights seem in the complex virtual reality of "World of Warcradft" a new channel for their provocative protest to be seen. "Who for the fun of killing baby seals, only the evil Lich King obey," says the blog. Whoever these lights may be - the Peta supporters in any case draw on Saturday evening, in Howling Fjord against his subjects in the battle.

Again and again, the animal rights actions with high visibility for itself: they demonstrate naked, locked up in cages or paint with color so that they look like blutbeschmiert. A campaign in which the housing conditions of chickens compared with the Holocaust, caused the world to protest - and injunctions.

Also, the current action criticize some as nothing more than a media staging. In the
Facebook group, with videos and pictures of sweet baby seals with big sad eyes, the battle for recruits, is criticized: "Peta is used all the time and money on publicity campaigns for the making, but does absolutely nothing to actually to save animals. " Another user on the board warned earlier that because of technical limitations for the game, most probably just witnessed the great seal slaughter will be without something to do.

The serious background can be the Peta campaign did not dispute it: In Canada, each year hundreds of thousands of seals are killed with permission. The hunting season has begun at the end of March, and
just has the Canadian government announced that the quota this year was even increased.
